It took awhile to get the spare bedroom emptied of all my belongings, but FINALLY we were able to decide on a nursery color. It only took three paint samples to pick out the PERFECT chocolate brown. We went with a Benjamin Moore color called coconut grove.Once we got the room painted, Ryan was able to put the crib together. We have decided to go with more modern furniture ( a gift from Oma and Opa, thanks SO much mom and dad!! ).
We and maybe I should I, have decided to do the nursery in an woodland animal theme. I am painting things like tree branches and little animals on the walls. I REALLY hope the baby likes it!! So I would say maybe a week more of painting and I should be done, phew!! And Grandma Didi is making ALL the baby bedding and window treatments! ( what a special baby gift! ). I can hardly wait to see what it all looks like!!
